Timing and measurement of time
Times in the race shall be kept electronically. It is required to mount an electronic chip to be given during the enrollment process onto the cycle in compliance with the rules in order to measure the time accurately. Chip mounting will be also demonstrated during the technical meeting.
Race Number
Two race numbers to be delivered during the enrollment along with the chip will be affixed onto the back of the athlete uniform being close to the low back level in such a way that is visible from the sidewise to be shown by the organization. Information on the back of the number must be completed. Please particularly specify your special conditions like allergy, asthma in back of the race number.
Race Start-up number
All athletes are placed into the start-up area by the age category in such a way which younger athletes will be on the front; older ones will be in the back and categories are separated from each other with barriers, strips or cordons from the onset to the last 5 minutes up to the start-up. Females are placed into the first start-up area prior to the placement of male age groups (in such a way which all age groups will be together). Alignment will be repeated in such way which long-distance racetrack will be at the front and the short-distance racetrack will be at the back.
Paracycling athletes take their start-up place behind the short-distance racetrack athletes.
SECURITY
Traffic will be halted prior to the road race start-up.
Police and organization vehicle and motorcycles will be present in front of the athletes for providing the security of race and clearing the way.
Only press and organization vehicles will enter into the racetrack for the purpose of providing the security of race, making the race fair and abstaining from the probable problems.
Team vehicles or personal athlete follow vehicles will not be admitted into the racetrack.
If requested, athletes must give way to the vehicles of the organization by crossing to the right of the road.
In the event that any athlete wants to stop due to any reason, he/she must cross to the right side of the road by raising his/her arm and warning the other athletes and vehicles and wait the relief car here or he/she must perform his/her repair here.
During the race, the security vehicle shall provide the security of the road one hour after the first athlete and subsequently open traffic.
Minimum average speed will be announced for the race of UCI GRAN FONDO WORLD SERIES ANTALYA. It is compulsory to obey this limit. The minimum average speed depends on the condition, length and altitude of race track, it will be specified into participation specification and race details. This speed value is a part of the race rules.
The minimum average speed will be controlled by the organization committee. The organization is entitled to take the participants who fall so behind even if they were above the minimum speed in a coordinated way with the security, racetrack teams and police units, pursuant to the traffic condition.
Athlete collection vehicle takes the athletes who want at the end of the group along with their cycles into the collection vehicle and transports to the finish.
Ambulance and police vehicles will fall behind and provide the security of athletes within the traffic. Meanwhile, the safety of the athlete belongs to himself/herself.
Traffic opening time and finish times are under the initiative of the organization, the athletes will be informed additionally in the technical meeting to be held prior to the race.
In the Race against the clock, the racetrack will be completely closed to traffic throughout the race.
First-aid kit will be available in the feeding and finish area for the minor accidents to be likely experienced.
Ambulance shall be available at adequate number in the race organization. One of which will follow the severing group in the race; the other will follow from behind, also, it will enter into the racetrack at some points which it must wait.
Organization includes risks and athletes participate into this race by accepting such risks (a disclaimer will be taken from all participants during the enrollment).
Conditions Entailing Penalty
Racing without helmet is a reason of disqualification.
Abandoning the racetrack due to any reason is a reason of disqualification. Feeding areas are inclusive of the racetrack. If required, roadside pavements may be used for technical service and this part is included into the racetrack.
Athletes who take support from the vehicles excluding organization supporting vehicles are disqualified.
Holding on vehicles is a reason of disqualification.
Cycling by endangering himself and other athletes is a reason of disqualification.
Trying to misleading the referees and organization deliberately is a reason of disqualification even if the race was completed. Racing with a bike which is not compatible with the rules is a reason of disqualification.
Participation of those who have taken UCI scores and are an athlete of any Professional team is a reason of disqualification.
Removing of the race number, the failure to affix it deliberately or lack of cycle number are the reasons of disqualification. Athletes who do not race within the framework of the ethical rules are disqualified.
Having completed the race does not mean that athlete will not be punished.
To those who are disqualified: penalties are given and conveyed by the organization. Athlete has no right of objection to such penalties.
Environmental damage caused by athletes is a reason of penalty.
FEED ZONE
There are feeding areas from which participants may take food and beverages in road races. The following conveniences are provided in all feeding areas:
First-aid kit for minor accidents
Beverages: water
Food: fruit
Portable toilet at adequate number
A mechanician which will assist in mechanical problems
Feeding area is identified at least 5 km ahead.
Athletes who will enter into feeding station while in a group must progress to the area by raising their hands and warning other athletes and follow vehicle.
AWARD CEREMONY
An award stand will be arranged separately for each category (female-male).
Athletes who are ranked in the top three ranks in the long-distance and 50+aged females and 60+aged males short-distance stage area awarded with UCI Medal and UCI Gran Fondo World Series Uniform as a gift.
Award ceremony for the race against the clock will be organized one hour after the last athlete complete the race on 21.02.2020 Friday. Award ceremony of all road races will be held in the fairground on 23.02.2020 at 16:00.

Athletes who are ranked in the general classification of UCI Gran Fondo World Series will be taken as female and male among athletes who race only in the long-distance racetrack.
Participant and UCI Medal
Participants must have completed the racetrack in order to be awarded with a race completion medal.
All athletes who completed the race will be awarded with race completion medal (finisher medal).
The top three athletes who are ranked in their own category in the race will be awarded with UCI GRAN FONDO WORLD SERIES ANTALYA organization medal. A finisher medal is not conferred to the athletes who are awarded with the organization medal.
For any participant to grasp the chance of participating into World championship and being awarded with UCI medal, he/she must have completed the race by being ranked in the first 20% segment among those who start race in their own category (including 50+ aged female and 60+ aged male short-distance racetrack).
The top three athletes who are ranked in the categories are entitled to participate into World championship and to be awarded with UCI medal regardless of the rule of 20% segment.
Any athlete who is ranked in 20% segment in all categories of the race against the clock is awarded with UCI medal, athletes who are ranked in the top three are awarded with UCI suit, UCI medal and World championship of Race against the clock.
ENROLLMENT FEE
In the event that any participant notifies the organization of his/her health problems in a report in which his/her disorder will be reported until 20.02.2020, all enrollment fees will be refunded. No refund is made in other cases.
