UCI Nirvana Gran Fondo World Series Started with Antalya 2022 Time Trial

The first stage of the UCI Nirvana Gran Fondo World Series Antalya International Cycling Race, organized by the International Cycling Union – UCI – International Cycling Union and organized by the destination partner Turkey Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) with the main sponsorship of Nirvana Hotels, has been completed.

On the first day of great excitement, the award ceremony of the Time Trial (20km) with 225 registered athletes was held at the Cosmos Sports Center at the Nirvana Cosmopolitan Hotel. In the UCI Nirvana Gran Fondo World Series Antalya International Cycling Time Trial (20km) Race, 60 athletes ranked in eight different age categories for women and ten different age categories for men were awarded with medals.

The winners of the UCI Nirvana Gran Fondo World Series Antalya International Time Trial (20 km) medal in all categories in women; 19-34 years old Şeniz Pamuk, 35-39 years old Buse Özlem, 40-44 years old Lena Norenko, 45-49 years old Ruby Altmann, 50-54 years old Victoria Collins, 55-59 years Caroline Trender, 60-64 years Pippa O'Brien, 65-69 Sheridan Deborah.

The winners of the UCI Nirvana Gran Fondo World Series Antalya International Time Trial (20 km) Race in all categories in men were age 16-18 Mustafa Tarakçı, age 19-34 Eyüp Karagöbek,  age 35-39 years old Sergei Serdiuk, age 40-44 years old Fatih Özgenlik, age 45- 49 Grant Carruthers, 50-54 age Sergei Podstavlennikov, age 55-59 Gareth Williams, age 60-64 Jaroslaw Tarasinski, age 65-69 Willems Karel, age 70-74 Cihangir Çiçen.

UCI Nirvana Gran Fondo World Series Antalya will be the scene of the Long Course (98 km.), Short Course (66 km.) stages as well as the Paracycling (66 km.) disabled athletes track on Sunday, November 20.
